PRESCHOOL CLASSROOMS AND ACTIVITY AREA

THE YOUNGEST OF OUR STUDENTS NEED ROOM TO GROW

The second floor of the Secondary Academic building is prepped and ready for the completion of our science center. Each additional room added to the space will enhance the investigation and instruction in the area of STEM studies.

A dedicated play area including a turf field for elementary will be possible by freeing up space currently occupied by High School locker rooms. This space will add additional resources for P.E., recess, and classroom activities.

Picture6

The two Mod classrooms closest to the football field are targeted to be remodeled into large locker rooms for the boys and girls P.E. classes and sports teams. This would provide closer access to the secondary campus and fields plus more space for lockers and changing.

Picture7

Additional space freed up by the addition of the second floor STEM classrooms will allow the current Art classroom to be converted into two additional Preschool classrooms. The area connecting the new rooms to the current Preschool area will provide needed extra outdoor activity space for all our young explorers.

HOW IT WORKS

THE PURPOSE

Tri-City Christian School has set out a comprehensive plan to enhance the academic program for all students from Preschool through High School. Each phase of this plan is woven into the completion of the other phases so that one area is not waiting for the other area to be completed. By the end of the plan we will see an enhanced educational program that will bring needed resources to all children.

THE PLAN

Phase 1 = Install elevator in Academic Building and complete classroom 1.
Phase 2 = Build upstairs hallway and access points.
Phase 3 = Complete STEM labs 1 & 2.
Phase 4 = Complete new secondary locker rooms in Mod building.
Phase 5 = Install elementary playground and update existing structures.
Phase 6 = Complete STEM labs 3 & 4.
Phase 7 = Move Art Room and convert structure to Preschool classrooms.

THE PLAN

Each phase of the project will be completed as funding comes available. More than one phase may be done at one time if funding is available. This is a faith project, so TCCS is trusting God to provide the amount of funds for the projects He desires for us to accomplish at each step. Though the cost of each phase varies the average cost per phase is $150,000.
